Ubuntu Bootup Error

About every time I cold boot my laptop, it pops up with one of those “Ubuntu has encountered an error” after bootup. From what I can tell, it seems to run fine after it’s booted.

Not sure what logs to check. Here is output from “journalctl -p 3 -xb”

To hazard a guess without being able to deep dive into this with a ticket:

  • Are you trying to push an external display with a doc or another type of non-Framework adapter?
  • If external display: If it is directly connected using HDMI, DP or USB-C to using a Framework HDMI, DP or USB-C expansion card, are you using ports 1 or 4 as shown here?

Reply to these, then open a support ticket with this thread provided in the ticket, please.

No dock. 2 external monitors connected to the 2 HDMI ports, controller to the USB A port, ethernet, power to 1 USB C and nothing on other USB C (saved for using flash/external drives). Keyboard connected to the port on GPU.
