# UEFI/BIOS reset not working

I set an UEFI Password years ago and have lost access to the store it was saved in. No I needed to access it and tried to reset the UEFI/BIOS. I read and followed this threads already:

But no luck for me… UEFI/BIOS still asks for a password. Any other advise?

I would be inclined to raise a ticket for this. I assume your device is out of warranty, but I don’t think that matters in relation to raising a ticket. Have a look at the Support tab on the FW homepage.

Made a support ticket and they directed me to an external manual that can be found here:

it worked like a charm. 😉

Here is a small addition to Step 9:  
The red LEDs will continue blinking while you press the switch, but in a wierd manner. → ignore that.
