Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller Not Installed in Device Manager

I have a 12th Gen i7-1260P. I have just done a clean install of Windows 10 and the driver bundle.
(Framework_Laptop_12th_Gen_Intel_Core_driver_bundle_W11_2022_07_26)

Device manager shows two “Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller” items under “Other devices”. The device status says “The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)”. Going to “Update Driver…” and searching for drivers on Windows Update doesn’t find anything.

All 4 of the USB ports appear to be working perfectly, so maybe it’s nothing to worry about, but I want to know if this is normal. Is anybody else seeing this?

If they’re working ok then it’s fine.
Did you install the right driver package though? Installing the 11th gen package on a 12th gen system is known to create errors.

The Windows 11 driver bundle is known to not work with windows 10, so you are straight out of luck
