USB A mouse stops working while laptop charging

I’m using a Razer DeathAdder V2 gaming mouse and I’ve noticed that whenever the mouse is plugged into a USB A port and while the laptop is charging (yes it MUST be charging) the mouse will disconnect and freeze up for seconds at time. It’s almost as if the device is re-enumerating constantly and I cannot figure out how to fix this.

I’ve swapped ports, moved the port adapters around, tried different chargers and outlets but the issue still persists. Is there anything I should be looking for to debug why this is happening?

Still waiting on this. If this cannot be fixed I need to know so I can return the laptop as this is not acceptable.

Can you post the output of dmesg when this happens? Just run “dmesg -w” in a terminal as root to watch the logs.
