USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 or 2?

Hi, I was wondering how many Gbps the four USB-C 3.2 ports were. I couldn’t find any information on that; are they 5 or 10 Gbps?

2xUSB 4
4xUSB 3.2

Only the 2 USB 4 and 1 USB 4.2 support any kind of display output, and only the 2 USB 4 and 2 o the USB 3.2 supports charging of the laptop.

I believe the 3.2 ports are gen 2, as per the Modules section in the specs.

10 Gbps.

Note that USB 3.2 (Gen 2 x1) was previously known as USB 3.1 Gen 2. The group responsible for USB renamed it, in their endless pursuit of creating confusion. USB 3.0 - Wikipedia

USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 or 2?

Same thing, different label, Stupid naming scheme.

Why they didn’t go for USB 3 < speed > I dunno. :man_shrugging:

Exactly why I asked this question. If they just said “USB-C 3 with 10 Gbps”, then this entire question would have an easy answer!
