Weird LED codes

Hello Friends of framework!

I am not sure i have the right LED code chart, as my LED paterns do not seam to match the codes.

I see three LED’s near the power button on the Framework Desktop and LED 2 over by the power supply connectors.

the three LED’s near the power button behaves as follows.
Two on the whole time.

The top one out of the 3 LED’s near the power connector stays on the whole time.

After about a minute and a half of the top and middle LED on, the middle and bottom LED’s in the set of three will do the following.
Middle one blinks 10 times.

Then middle one goes off then all three turn on.

Then middle one and the top one blink 1 time

Bottom one turns off then the middle one blinks 11 times

Then middle one and bottom one go on.

Bottom one turns off then the middle one blinks 4 times and stays on.

Primary problem:

The unit does not show any indication that it successfully completes the power-up/boot process, and there is no video output.

After power is applied, it takes approximately a minute and a half before the three LEDs begin displaying the sequence shown in the video I submitted. After that sequence completes, there appears to be very little activity. The fan does turn on occasionally, but the system never appears to boot successfully.

Troubleshooting performed so far:

  1. Tested with multiple power supplies, including the original supply and a newer supply.
  2. Removed the M.2 drive.
  3. Removed all devices from the PCIe expansion slot.
  4. Removed the Wi-Fi module.
  5. Completely powered down and unplugged the unit, allowed it to sit for a period of time, and then held the Clear CMOS button for approximately 20 seconds. (procedure in the documentation how to reset the board)
  6. Tested HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C display outputs.
  7. Noticed that the USB-A ports do not provide power.
  8. Confirmed that the USB-C ports do provide power.
  9. No ETHERNET LED status light when the ethernet is connected.

None of these steps have changed the system’s behavior.

Please let me know if there are any additional diagnostic steps.

I have the same issues as Lance_Gibson with a brand new machine, also I tried nearly the same to fix but no success. Very dissapointed and contaced support :frowning:
