Just a quick question. Does anyone know what the correct polarity of this connector is or where I can look it up? I see no markings on the board and want to use a non-framework ML1220 I already have.
Components usually share a common ground, use a multimeter’s Ohm measurement, one probe to the chassis, the other on the pin, if the measured ohm is near zero, that pin is the - and the other pin is the +. Before measuring, make sure to remove the Li-ion battery to prevent possible damage.

@Charlie_6 's method is definitely the A-Student method. Kudos.
Alternatively (maybe this is a B or C student method), looking at the battery that Framework sells in the store has a picture of the connector and traditionally the red wire is +. As long as the orientation of the connector “key” can be distinguished, that is probably the + terminal. Glad it was figured out!
