Many students and developers in India are interested in Framework laptops due to their repairability and long-term upgradeability. However, Framework currently does not ship to India.
Is there any official roadmap or future plan for availability in India? It would be great to understand if this market is being considered.

Just like what @xoe said the best thing to do is register interest on the link provided. Encourage others in your country to express interest and it will help gain additional attention to the demand.
As has been said in the past, Framework would love to sell in all kinds of countries world wide however each and every country has their own rules and regulations that must be followed in order to properly do business there.
Pretty sure India has been looked at in the past due to the sheer size of its population and industry related to technology. It is almost always the countries government who puts roadblocks and hurdles in the way.
An alternative approach is to contact government representatives and ask them about making it easier for smaller businesses to do business in their country.
Big corporations have lots of people to work on this but small companies do not have this luxury of large teams of people just dedicated to establishing new business.
