Drain it completey over night?
I see ca 1% loss per hour while asleep. And while I would like that to be lower, it’s somehting like 10% loss when I open the laptop after not charging it the night before.
What AMD board do you have? Mine is AI 350.
285H has an enhanced version of the first generation Arc Xe architecture.
Pantherlake has a THIRD generation Xe3. It’s a huge change between 1st and 3rd. Intel launched 2nd generation Xe2 architecture at nearly the same time as the 1st Gen in 285H, in a lower power chip called “Lunarlake” which are called 2xxV chips(226V for example).
The 2nd generation improves performance in actual games drastically, versus synthetics, and also fixes and improves many deficiencies on the 1st gen GPU: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACOlBthEFUw
Better memory bandwidth savings, instructions specific for modern engines like UE5, more caches, native bigger SIMD execution for better utilization, etc.
Pantherlake Xe3 is a big change on top of Xe2. Meanwhile AMD stayed virtually same.
