# Will a productized version of the passified USB-A Card be available?

13th gen Intel boards [only](http://community.frame.work/t/responded-framework-13-things-that-surprised-me/36235/9) without hardware mods/revisions like the DP and HDMI.

11th gen boards have a _constant_ drain of ~0.35W per USB A card.

12th gen ameliorated the idle consumption however drain during sleep was the same as 11th gen, ~0.35W per card.

AMD 13/16 boards only have this USB A issue on the rear ports according to the knowledge base:
