Yes, I realized that which is why I am fine with waiting.
I was just at the point of wanting to support Framework, needing to buy a new laptop, but at the same time wanting to utilize the features the 16 inch offers.

I assumed too that the 16" machine will have the option to accomoate the 13" motherboard. I was a big fan of the lap-dock, the concept that the “notebook” is just a peripheral, waiting for a compute unit, let it be an Raspberry Pi, a phone or a motherboard+ram+cpu board. Promoting reusability and modularity.
