I’ve seen at least a couple bios updates now calling out this specific fix:
Fixed the issue preventing the Wooting 80HE Keyboard from working within the BIOS interface.
What is so special about this keyboard that it specifically needed to be fixed?
The HE stands for Hall effect. How that makes a difference over USB, I have no idea. Potentially something to do with their fast tap feature? Just my guess.
If I had to guess it probably shows up as too many keyboards and the bios got confused by that somehow. NKRO keyboards sometimes have special switches to show up as just one keyboard precisely for working with picky stuff like bioses but that hasn’t really been all that necessary for a while so I suspect that thing is doing something slightly weirder.
