Bluto
Mathematician, Data Scientist and Computer Engineer/Scientist. All 100% Applied.
I first logged into UNIX in 1978 and have never looked back.
I am starting a new company, Plan9 Labs (Plan9.ai) focused on software robots and RPA in the data transform and AI/ML space.
My user name is “bluto”, the account name I have used as an active programmer for 44 years. I still write code in Go and Python (as well as Scala, Spark and related AI languages. I work in R, but not as much as prior years. In the 1980s and 1990s, I wrote in large volume Fortran and C.)
I was a kernel code contributor to BSD 4.3 and I was a founding member of POSIX, IEEE 1003.
In the normal world, I am Grover Righter. You can find me on LinkedIn. linkedin.com/in/groverrighter
