I’m a full time software developer and a tech enthusiast from Indonesia! I was a software quality assurance and a tester too while I’m still busy studying in college. I was also an active insider for Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 when they’re still consumer, release or technical previews.

I love to do works on my devices, such as install custom operating system on mobile phones, upgrading my macs, trying eGPU support using nvme slot for laptops that don’t have thunderbolt ports, and sometimes practicing hackintosh and exploring boot camp and other things!

But as a software developer and a tech enthusiast, I don’t often change devices. I do upgrade them if really needed. I still do have older Nokia (android) phone as my main phone. I ever bought a Lumia, I thought because it’s Windows 10 it will last longer than Android as updates will roll out just like in the PC version. I was wrong, it was my biggest regret when the tech giant Microsoft announce the discontinue of Lumia.

In recent years, laptops are just like smartphones. They’re starting to be not upgradable, either by using soldered SSDs and RAM, or just unrepairable at all, those laptops are great but trash in a few years. I don’t like those. That’s why I still using a Mac Mini that still has a SATA interface, and a Core2Duo laptop as my personal laptop because it has too much port that I could use, including but not limited to the express card slots, infrared, and more! For office usage, I do have other laptop, but I don’t use it much, just for finishing software projects. Even it’s an 10th gen i5, I still feel newer laptops are lack of customization, right?

Since I heard Framework Laptop from a kind-of fact posts in one of a social media platform, I’m starting to like it, starting to announce it to my friends via social media too, and looking forward to replace my old Core2Duo laptop with the Framework laptop.

Outside the tech world I’m also a biker, I ride small displacement bikes (under 250-300cc) to show the world that small bikes doesn’t mean less fun. I also chose motorcycles that upgradable tho including upgrading the displacement of the engine which I already done in one of my motorcycle.

• Personal PC: 2014 Apple Mac Mini (i5 4th gen, 8GB LPDDR3, 1TB SATA SSD)
• Work laptop: Lenovo Thinkbook 14IIL (i5 10th gen, 16GB DDR4, 1TB NVMe + 2TB SATA SSD)
