is there another post with some more details about the specifics of this? is it a restriction in this model of CPU specifically? or does supporting it require some compromises in some way that FW isn’t willing to do? other laptops certainly have this ability so it can’t be intel across the board or impossible.

The memory training/init is from Intel reference code. And this is not supported by the memory training reference code we have.
