[SOLVED] Dual Boot (Windows 10 and Ubuntu 22.04) and can't enroll Fingerprints

You can use the fingerprint scanner in Windows or Linux, not both. When you add fingerprints in Windows or even update the driver, it renders the fingerprint scanner inaccessible in Linux.

In Ubuntu, you can delete the stored fingerprints from Windows and start over:

@CSab6482 I spent some more time on this, and I got together something that should be reasonably easy. I can’t guarantee it will work, and I provide this as-is with zero warranty - it has not been approved by Goodix, the manufacturer of the fingerprint device; I have just taken a guess at how their device works based on some code they left behind.
