Does anyone know if there are plans for a BIOS update to start using newer Microsoft Secure Boot keys for booting windows? I understand the current keys expire this year and current indications are that the new keys are not being used to boot Windows on my 13th Gen Intel model.

AFAIK the rollout of the new Microsoft Secure Boot keys (CA 2023 instead of CA 2011) on the Framework Laptops has been completed by the end of 2025. Check Framework’s UEFI/BIOS changelogs for your specific model. You can do things on LVFS website (except for original Framework 13 mainboard with 11th gen Intel Core)
The BIOS update version 0.0.3.9 with the new Secure Boot keys for Laptop 13 (13th gen Intel) has been released on the 12th of October last year according to this model’s LVFS page:
I did already have the latest version of the BIOS installed and do see that the new key is in the default keystore. I guess I will be patient and see how things evolve - It seems like something that can be looked at closer to the deadline.
