i have an odd Problem.
I have an Dell U3425WE Thunderbolt Monitor
conncted via USB-C to the mainboard

Dell U3425WE
   ├─ type: peripheral
   ├─ name: U3425WE

      ├─ policy: iommu
      └─ key: no

when i install Mint 22.1 with Kernel 6.11.0-21-generic and boot the system, i’m not seeing the Framework Bios Logo nor the Mint Boot Logo and the Screen times out while booting. no Login prompt, but the system does boot and if i enter the password blind fast enough, i’m able to Login. (same with the stock kernel)

On ubuntu Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS with Kernel 6.11.0-21-generic the behavior is a little different.
I see the framework Logo, right after the Logo no ubuntu Logo but in the final stage i see the Login screen.

any idea of the root cause?

I also have a Framework Gen 11 i7 as standalone, with the same install of Mint (moved disk) it works as expected. I know about the differences of those systems. Just a prove the Monitors is working fine.

output from sudo journalctl -u bolt
