… better don’t have anything important to do on tuesday, because it could arrive earlier than expected.

It arrived in Cologne this afternoon, I wouldn’t be surprised (and not unhappier at all) if your forecast becomes true.

I just got the shipping soon email and my payment has been processed! 7840u with no ram or storage, an orange bezel, no power adapter, and 4 total USB C/A expansion cards. Shipping to US.
Looks like they are moving through the batch fast.

Year. Since Amazon delivered me wrong RAM modules and haven’t even send out the right one yet, my German R5 will arrive tomorrow or on Wednesday without me being able to actually fit some RAM in it…
Feels sad that some folks here are still waiting for the shipment notification while I probably can not even use the laptop that will be shipped in the next two days

Mine also arrived two days early! It’s also blazing fast and a thing of beauty. Unfortunately, the touchpad is barely responding and also reversed in its left/right movement, even after thorough checkups of connectors and drivers. Already contacted support, it’s quite curious.

That is strange. I saw one other report of someone who had two keys reversed on the keyboard. I think one of the control keys was swapped with another key.
Meanwhile, I’m still side-eyeing my email notifications, waiting to be charged.

Mine arrived todays as well… with BIOS 3.02 and the download page stating there is no download as 3.03 is factory installed. Let’s see if the support can point me to a download since it seems linux is a no-go without it.
Currently running memtests, curious to see if everything works correctly as touchpad left click seems kinda mushy…

@Soukyuu Go to the english language version of that page. The international versions are outdated/incorrect.

Funnily enough, the “international” page I was directed to was in English, so I hadn’t thought about that. But you’re totally right, this version of the page has the download link, currently flashing 
edit: on 3.03 now, finally can start installing linux on it \o/
