Just a note to say that under the settings section there is a Firmware update tool which allows you to very easily update the BIOS.
To complete the update to version 3.05 it took about 15 mins until the laptop automatically rebooted.
No problems with sleep and return to normal operation. Just thought this might be a reassurance for Pop_OS users.
