That sounds like you can still manually enable it, may be worth a test.
Yeah, kernel patch required for it ( it’s how I’m interpreting that )
some users are also reporting PSR issues too ( I’m one of them )
Updating this thread to say that you can use kscreen-doctor -o to list the output modes. I had to update my scripts to use modes 1 and 2 instead of 0 and 1. I just updated the scripts accordingly, e.g. 60hz became `kscreen-doctor output.1.mode.2`
