Sync backlight between modules/ control backlight from OS

Hi All,

Just finished getting linux set up on my FW16. Just wondering if there’s any elegant solution to sync the backlight brightness between the keyboard and numpad modules and/or integrate with the OS. On my previous laptop the backlight level was controllable with a slider from within KDE. As it stands the numpad and keyboard being controlled separately is kind of annoying.

If not I may take a look at putting together a small driver or script down the line when I get a bit of free time.

I haven’t seen anyone put together a solution. Couple different ways to go about it depending on what capabilities you want supported. If you want the modules to sync independent of whatever OS is running / not depending on an OS driver or script, that’s doable but will be a little hacky.
