Back Lighting is Shot

Backstory: I noticed my bezel wasn’t sitting normally on my laptop, I moved the display cable around (disconnected and reconnected while laptop was still on), bezel was fine after that. Restarted Laptop BC touchpad sometimes stops working after reconnecting while laptop was still on. Display backlight then stopped working.

Now that I’m past the five stages of grief and have accepted my consequences, do I need to replace the whole screen entirely or rather just the display cable?

Logically, it could be either. Practically, it’s more likely to be the cable than the screen. However, I would suggest talking to Framework’s support people before anything else, they will almost certainly have things you can try before replacing hardware.
