I do some video editing (diving/RC Airplaine videos). The entire computer can get pretty hot. Reason I try to get components that run cool by default.
And, to be honest, being 54 years old with a good job, I don´t really care about he price tag 
especially since it is a laptop I can completely replace all parts on it!
