Cursed, isn’t it? 
I currently have to use a MacBook at work and the HDMI to USB-C adapter they gave me broke… So I tried using the expansion card from my Framework Laptop and it worked well. But it definitely looks completely wrong

I hear you. #1 worst complaint about the framework, people keep nicking my adapters! Funniest example is here; my high school student had an essay due and the Internet was out. Thank you, Framework!

I go to work events with my Framework, and countless times someone asks “I can’t connect to this projector, anybody has an HDMI / DP adapter?”… expansion cards to the rescue! They are very jealous now.

One of my friends wanted to connect his iPad to his TV (via a HDMI cable). So of course I got him a Framework adaptor. Luckily his housemates have not nicked it (yet).
