Im looking at buying a framework 16 laptop but i cant seem to find the gpu upgrade module on there website i can only find it separate is it available for purchase separate or only in the configuration page?
You can’t buy the GPU module separately at this moment. In the configuration page, there’s an option to add the GPU module when purchasing a Framework Laptop 16.
It will be available for purchase - later. Probably around the time all preorders have been fulfilled, so Q2 to Q3 next year.
It will be available in the Framework Marketplace, not long after we start shipping Batch 1 of Framework Laptop 16.

ping! It’s two years later… Is it available yet? I bought the 16 “barebones” this spring, thinking I could get by with the built in GPU, but now regret and now want to get a GPU… still hesitating between the AMD and the Nvidia one. Any idea when they will become available?
The nvidia one should be available sometime in November.
The 7700s is available now, but framework have a bit of a strange approach to sales.
If something is out of stock, they don’t let you order it.
You instead have to wait for it to come back into stock, and hope you can press the buy button quickly enough.
OK, I ticked “Notify Me” for now… I was looking at the specs and tempted to go with the old AMD7700 saving 300$ vs. the Nvidia one. I guess by November I have to decide.

No, it just connects people. Sales are zone privately or using mainstream channels (I.E. ebay).
I’ll post on Community Market the Ebay link, with proper working proof and all the goodies, once the 5070 arrives.
