Charging / discharging notification on mxlinux

Hi,

I set the charge threshold to 60% in the Bios. When I use the framework on the charger and the :battery: is at the upper threshold it constantly notifies what the :battery: is doing. Is this a bug in the software or is it really charging and discharging?

IMO I would prefer to have tge battery charge to 80% capacity and then only draw power over the ac adapter and leave the battery alone.

What would be your guess in this?

I would say that it’s improperly configured notifications, as if MXlinux is notifying you every time the battery starts charging, not plugged in, then you are most likely better off setting the notifications to silent, or disconnecting battery in bios(seems like you want to be plugged in).
