Are the upper and lower halves of the chassis held together with just screws and maybe a couple of robust clips, similar to MacBooks? Or are there plastic clips all along the perimeter of the chassis?

Just fasteners and magnets, which means you can disassemble and assemble it easily as many times as needed while keeping the assembly rigid.

Perfect! I’ve looked at laptops that have been repaired once or twice before and had to warn the owner that another repair risks breaking the remaining clips.
