I have installed Davinci Resolve 19 studio on Windows 11. My Framework 16 has a GPU expansion card. When I launch Resolve, I get “Unsupported GPU processing Mode” If I click on “Update Configuration” neither of the GPU’s show up. I tried to update the drivers from AMD, but the installation hangs the computer and I have to power down. After re-booting, the new driver does not load and I have to reinstall the Framework driver bundle. Any ideas why the GPU’s are not being detected? (They are detected in other apps).
As someone who also runs DaVinci Resolve on my Windows 11 FW16, I’m going to be watching this thread before I upgrade from 18 to 19.
I appreciate the warning. Let us know if there are any updates.
Thanks!
Did Resolve 18 run on your Framework 16? I might uninstall 19 and install 18 to see if that works.
I looked in the Resolve Log and found these entries.

Could this be a naming issue?
