Detailed specs? Wondering about TB support

It’s for using TB docks.

@sudothelinuxwizard That i5 is actually more powerful than an i7-10850H, single- (+7%) as well as multithread (+15~30%), and the iGPU is about 30% more powerful, with 1/3 TDP (15W v 45W).
After seeing its results I’m actually reconsidering my opinion and pondering actually getting one.

That’s what I was trying to tell you in the other thread. The newer ULV Intel chips are surprisingly good for what they are.

We can only hope they don’t suffer from the silicon rot.
I was surprised even the i3-1315U is on par with the i7-10850H; singlethread passmark cca +5%, multithread -15%, iGPU +25%, with 15W TDP. The only drawbacks of the FW12 being only one SODIMM slot and only one M.2 2230 slot, which means I’m aiming for FW13/16 for my next workpiece and FW12 for the rest of the family for their office / school. But I still wouldn’t let i7/i9’s in for some time, just as a precaution. For that kind of workload AMD it is, but as I have access to plenty of server hardware, it won’t be necessary for the predictable future, because I can just offload the heavy workloads into server-hosted virtual machines and remote into them.
And with this portfolio it’s even feasible to take one extra replacement display and doing my own next-business-hour repair service if need be. Especially as the FW12 has a MIL-STD-810 rating; it’s just hard to imagine what would have to happen to break that.
