I know framework does not yet use thunderbolt but i am curious if the bandwidth of a USB4 type c would be enough for an RTX 3050 8GB? (obviously not powered by the type c, just data transfer)
Technically framework uses TB4 but cannot legally say as it is not certified. People have ran eGPU enclosures at TB4.

I have used an RTX3070 (external monitor) + laptop charging + network + 6 USB devices all on one port (TB3 dock) without any issues on my framework laptop. So yes, will work!
