Display Connecting Infinitely via USB-C

Hello,
I have a problem connecting my framework laptop to an external display via USB-C.

Problem:
When I try to connect my external display via USB-C (i.e. plugging in the cable) the framework device keeps trying to connect infinitely (connection sound “DING” plays repeatedly and the dock keeps hiding/unhiding).

Any help in resolving this is appreciated!

Part of the logs from sudo dmesg | tail -n 50:

[ 444.421006] ucsi_acpi USBC000:00: GET_CABLE_PROPERTY failed (-5)
[ 445.385929] ucsi_acpi USBC000:00: unknown error 256

Workaround:
Connecting via HDMI works perfectly fine.

This long-living post is about the same error message, but not display port connections specifically.

Update:
I just tried with a battery level of 59% and the connection is working fine now. I don’t know the battery level from before.
