Do I get a choice of an american megatrends or coreboot UEFI

I would prefer an american megatrends UEFI on my framework when I when I decide to pull the trigger and buy it.

Neither, the BIOS is Insyde and there is no Coreboot option.

It sounds like you are coming from starlabs.systems. They use American Megatrends Inc (AMI) and Coreboot. And allow you to pick when buying, or swap at a later time.

Framework currently has no different choosable UEFI / BIOS options.

It’s a bit surprising to ask for a particular proprietary BIOS…

Coreboot I can understand, as it is open, but between Insyde and AMI… same same?
