it was covered briefly on LTT’s WAN Show that said AMD is offering 1 million chips to the manufacturer (as well as tremendous discounts from Intel and other offers) and the manufacturer refusing to take AMD’s offer and eventually someone blowing the whistle on it
Both of which sound super sketchy and shady in its own ways. Whoever that manufacturer is must be really influential
