Documentation: battery extender write-up seems very confusing

Dear all

Having just installed the 3.09 BIOS on my F13, I read the documentation about the new (or at least newly fixed) battery extender function. I find that account confusing. Specifically, I am foxed by what the guide says about the ‘day’ field and, especially, by the table correlating number of days with charge level. Can someone explain that field to me? And - Framework employees - does the documentation need to be changed so as to make it more intelligible?

Agreed, it reads weird. I guess the table correlates to the default setting of “Battery Extender Trigger: 5 (days)”? If so, I wonder how the “State of Charge” changes with different values. Do they scale? If so, do they scale linearly?

E.g. if the trigger is set to “1 day”, does that mean the table item “+7 days” would kick in after 1 day and ~5 hours?

If the battery charge limit timings depend on the trigger value, it would be nice if there was at least one more table showing what happens e.g. with a value of “1 Day”.

I think the option names could also be better / be more self-explanatory, but that ship has probably sailed
