Pretty much issue free here on my Batch 4 7840U DIY with all framework bits (64Gb RAM, 1TB SDD). Daily driving Fedora 39 (Gnome) at the moment without issue. All software dev (rust, so plenty of compiling), web browsing, emails etc.
I get a full day of battery out of the thing. I suspect the battery on my configuration is not optimised because… linux power management is known to be kinda crappy without a lot of tuning (and even then), but yeh. You’ll find its well supported at a usable level (particularly if you use their recommended distros… it just kinda works), just a lot more tuning that can be done.
