I see that there is a new screen lid on the marketplace, that is more ridged. Anyone have any hands on comparison experience?
It looks so-so from the video. Can’t really tell for certain:
I just got the new cover today after buying it from the marketplace, and upgraded it. It definitely feels a bit nicer and it’s more rigid (read: less flex) but doesn’t solve the wobble issue. For that matter, it doesn’t seem to negatively impact the hinge functionality at all.
It is definitely better, but maybe not worth the upgrade if you’re thinking of getting it apart from the upgrade kit.
