Has anyone in the US made any push towards making and selling those DongleHider+ printed circuit boards?
It was a very clever design that allowed a user to have a Logitech Unifying Receiver (at least its inner board) tucked into a Framework USB-C adapter case while still leaving a USB port available. With one expansion card, you’d have your mouse receiver plugged in and still have a USB-A external port available.
I thought the idea was very cool, but I don’t personally have the PCB experience to efficiently make one myself.
Is anyone making and selling these in the USA? I found a guy in the UK selling them on Etsy and one of our forum members appears to be set up to sell them out of Australia.
I just wanted to check domestically before going through all the extra steps of international shipping. (I’m in Texas.)
If you refer to Josh and OcuLink 4x and M.2 M Key Expansion Bay Module there were reports that he is no longer selling it. please search in forum before you deice to go that route. I order it from him and it was delivered but later he diapered
I see that there’s also an Etsy page selling these as well. I don’t know if Josh is affiliated with DarkModsUK, but I see that there are recent reviews so these may still be available. Might want to contact the seller first just to be sure (but with Etsy’s purchase protection and the ability to dispute charges, I would not be worried about that).
I have bought 2 donglehiders plus unifying dongles already soldered in good to go from the Etsy page noted above DarkModsUK. They were well packaged and arrived in good nick here downunder. (ordered on 12/10/25, dispatched 14/10/25 and arrived 27/10/25) I’m using one with my 16 and the other with the FWdesktop! Am not affiliated or even know the Etsy shop or owners, just thought i’d let you guys know about the purchase.
