For someone at Framework: I’m pretty sure it’s easy to do, but was wondering if the next bundle allows for an interactive script instead, which will let us choose the drivers we want to install and which to avoid.
The reason behind this is some people may have changed some things out that the drivers in the bundle won’t apply anymore. For example, I know a lot of people probably replaced their MediaTek RZ616 WIFI card and installed AMD drivers and tools from AMD’s site.
Also looking into the future, people with different dGPUs is something to consider as well.
While I understand you can just extract it and install it yourself, the script already exists (and it’s actually pretty nice), it’s not much effort to make it interactive.
