Dual boot causing lost Windows PIN

I set up my Framework 13 to dual boot Windows 11 and Ubuntu for the first time. I can access both operating systems, and no files are being lost, but whenever I switch from Ubuntu back to Windows I have to reset my Windows login PIN. What could be causing this?

One possible problem - I don’t know if this is possible, but I think I may have accidentally installed Ubuntu onto my Windows partition. I am quite new to this (obviously). How could I check if I have done this, and if so, fix it?

Hi, good question.
I don’t have the solution but I had the same issue on my gaming pc. For 2 week, he have asked me to change the pin at every start. The issue is now ended but I don’t have find were the issue came from and it have stopped alone.
So I think it’s probably the same issue and that don’t come from the dual boot.
