F9 button right of the Screen Bright button

Hey there, I´m not quite sure what the button to the right of the screen brightness buttons is supposed to do, but it´s not doing anything for me. Running Fedora 14 on the low spec amd cpu and the 2.8k matte display. Happy to get any answers

Hi amoun thanks for the quick reply! That is exactly what I was thinking it was supposed to do  So thanks for clearyng up. This doesnt seem like a feature I would ever use, since if I do connect a monitor I enjoy using both. Is there any ways to remap this?

Looks like the comment was deleted, can you post what they said??

Also, I hope you’re using Fedora 41, not 14

The button emits Win+P, the keyboard shortcut for switching displays on Windows, which GNOME has also adopted. If you are not connected to an external display, it will do nothing. If you use a custom keyboard layout that places P on a different key than QWERTY, it will not behave as expected. (I have a PR to the embedded controller firmware to fix this: Add option to emit HID display toggle from F9 display key by Jules-Bertholet · Pull Request #49 · FrameworkComputer/EmbeddedController · GitHub)
