After repasting the cpu and cleaning the fan on my framework 13 12th gen, ive found that the fan is no longer spinning, at all. running ectool pwmgetfanrpm shows the output “Fan 0 stalled!”. Setting an rpm makes no difference. What can i do to fix this?
one of the pins on the connector (on the mainboard end) is missing
It sounds as though you may have damaged your mainboard. You may want to look for local repair shops or purchase a new mainboard if you don’t feel confident in replacing the connector yourself.
