Fedora 35 Cinnamon: configure fingerprint reader where?

I’ve just installed Fedora 35 Cinnamon respin on my Framework and I’d like to set up the fingerprint reader for it. But I can’t find anywhere to do that. fprint-d is installed but I can’t find any options anywhere for it, and all of the advice online is for GNOME and generally involves settings tabs that don’t seem to exist in Cinnamon.

So–and I fully acknowledge the possibility I’m missing something obvious here–how do I go about setting up my fingerprint reader? Or at the very least where do I set it up?

Cinnamon doesn’t have integration with fprintd yet. afaik only KDE and GNOME have good support. There should be a guide somewhere for a CLI configuration but I wouldn’t be sure
