In the past few months, on some networks, my Framework laptop does not connect to wifi. This usually starts with a working connection, and then at some point a popup appears to request the wifi password (which it already has, since it’s autofilled, and was just connected to the network a moment ago). From then on the popup will intermittently appear. This sometimes eventually resolves itself, without a clear correlation to anything causing it.
I don’t think it’s a just router/modem-side issue since other devices connect without problem, including a PC also on Fedora 40.
Running systemctl restart NetworkManager
does not fix it.
A given network either never has this problem, or has it regularly (more than half of the time).
Using a hotspot from my phone (Pixel 6 if it might matter), which is connected to the same network, is a workaround, but inconvenient to rely on.
