Idk, you can use multiple amd drivers/vulkan drivers for different applications without relogging, so maybe that’s fine. Idk how that works, but it does.
Thanks for the info.

I have discovered a new issue I believe wasn’t happening with Fedora 41. When my laptop resumes from sleep the fingerprint reader doesn’t work until I unlock the laptop. The lock screen still works with my fingerprint if I just lock the laptop without it going to sleep.
Do you have extensions enabled? There are some that break the fingerprint reader.
Start disabling one by one, youll find the culprit
So many bugs…
Running into the same issue with the KDE Edition
I feel this was already not working on the previous fedora version (towards the end). I COULD be wrong though…
I disabled the fingerprint reader anyway, because of a (long open) gnome bug its not possibly to unlock some cases (ie fallback to password), which is annoying if the laptop is closed (ie only working on external screen).
The first few weeks of a Fedora release are always like this.
If bugs are an issue, its generally recommended to wait a few weeks before upgrading.
what bugs are you experiencing?
