After the amazing presentation just given by Nirav introducing the Framework 13 Pro and specifically the new core ultra 300 mainboards, one question arose for me which I could not find the answer to anywhere - what ports does the new mainboard support? Is it still USB4v1/TB4 or are we finally getting an upgrade to TB5/USB4v2?

And not v2, just regular USB 4. That’s what panther lake supports, no TB5 on panther lake anywhere that I could find.
So we got some wins with LPCAMM2 and haptic touchpad and whatnot, but the TB5 dream isn’t here yet.
LPCAMM2 is a “win” for me. It’s not even a question of price. There are simply not available modules in my country…
Ah, thank you. I was hoping to upgrade my eGPU setup with TB5, but seems like I’ll have to wait until the next generation.
Though LPCAMM2 is cheaper on current market, if you can get one…
