I was able to get freebsd-current installed with a desktop
I had to use drm-61, in my case from ports.
What are the specs of your laptop? When I try latest installer, it hangs forever on something “acpi” related. So i am not even able to start installation.
Also is your wifi working?
basic, they built the laptop and sent it.
I don’t recall any hangups when booting the default FBSD 14 install disc. And I do/did use Wi-Fi to install and use
