Disassembling your machine while it’s powered up could be a bit dangerous - hopefully there were electrical damages resulting from that.
I’ve seen (and others have reported) a popup when the keyboard and numpad were not updated after moving to BIOS 4.02, but that popup could be navigated past by hitting enter (the popup had something listed about the keyboard/numpad not being updated to the latest firmware version and a reminder to do that followed by something like an “ok” button - running on memory about its specific wording). Not having the latest firmware did not actually stop anything from functioning.
There are several people reporting on how to update the relevant firmware in the thread I’ll link below, but that might not be helpful at this point if you have damaged hardware or something else going on.
