Framework laptop 16 won't reboot with a 4k optane drive

I’m using a SSDPEK1A118GA01 formatted to the 4096 LBA size and when I reboot it can’t find something to boot from. It’s not really a big problem though. If I power cycle it manually it works again. This is more of an fyi than an actual request to fix something. Also this problem doesn’t happen 100% of the time I reboot.

Also I’m using firmware version 0.0.3.3. I can’t seem to update to 0.0.3.5 for some reason.

Its probably more a bug in the SSD firmware.
Have you updated the SSD firmware to the latest version?

Status : The selected drive contains current firmware as of this tool release.

# intelmas version
- Version Information -
Name: Intel(R) Memory and Storage Tool
Version: 2.5.0
Description: Interact and configure Intel SSDs.

If the nvme ssd has problems on reboot, that is probably preventing bios updates.
I would suggest removing the ssd, do the BIOS firmware update with a usb stick, using the efi method. Also do firmware update with the battery at less than 100% charged.
Can you test with a different manufacturer of nvme ssd?
