Personal insults and character summarizations, no matter how thinly veiled, are not necessary. This forum is not the place to wage the eternal debate known as Windows vs Linux.
I think it is fantastic that Linux runs so well on the Framework Laptop. Windows does as well.
There are points to using each.
Lets stick to facts and remember that we strive for this community to be a place where we all benefit. If you can’t convey your point or your opinion in a way that accomplishes that, I respectfully ask you to refrain.
Really strange behavior with Win 11 Touchpad, if external mouse is attached while rebooting, the touchpad stops working. Gestures do not work. Tried disabling the ps2 emulation, still did not work. I have all the latest drivers i believe.
The twist is, it is snapped. But for some reason windows do not consider it to be snapped and the window is in fact in a “bugged” state and will not respond to clicks until you re-snap the title bar
Personally I think the round window edges is plain stupid. Yes, this is Mac OS Redmond , but still.
It is getting better, though. I am sure there will be more reasons to switch to it when Intel 12th gen come out.
It’s just that on some installs bitlocker cannot be turned off (because it will be stuck in 96% encryption) which basically force you to wipe disk reinstall
Again, I’m not taking anything away from it. I’m just saying that this is technically " stable open beta", which, again, isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
